Your road trip as a map, stop by stop
Maplapse turns the photos from a road trip into a map with every stop, numbered in the order you got there. The start and the finish get markers of their own, and one tap on a stop opens its photos.
The whole journey at a glance
Maplapse joins the stops of a road trip with a line that always follows time. The line is a straight connection from place to place rather than the road you drove, because Maplapse only knows where your photos were taken. The scale bar at the bottom right tells you whether two stops are 500 metres or 500 kilometres apart.
Long tours stay one trip
Maplapse can hold a round trip of several weeks together as a single trip. Under “Travel behaviour” in Settings you choose the break after which a new trip begins, two months by default. If you have set a home address, a trip ends as soon as photos from home turn up again, so two weekend trips in the same month stay two trips.
Find it again by place, country or year
Maplapse search finds any stop by place, country or year and highlights the matches on the map. With Maplapse Pro you can also give a road trip its own name, say “Alsace”, and find it that way. Pro's advanced search forgives typos and looks through your notes as well.
